Tub to Shower Conversions in Nashville

Whether your tub is seldom-used or simply an eyesore, a tub to shower conversion can transform your space in as little as one day. Granite Transformations of Nashville specializes in creating spacious, luxurious walk-in showers for homeowners wanting a fast and practical upgrade to their bathroom.

Why Invest in a Tub to Shower Conversion?

Some real estate agents will caution against converting your tub to a shower. While it’s true that bathtubs can hold great value, especially to families with young children and dogs, tubs that are outdated, unattractive, or space-hogs in small bathrooms can actually do more harm than good.

As long as you already have a tub elsewhere in your home, choosing to go ahead with a tub to shower conversion can be rewarding for your family and guests. Here are some of the top reasons homeowners choose to convert their bath to a shower:

1. Bathtubs can take up valuable space in small guest baths. If you have a guest bathroom with a large tub yet little room for changing or using the vanity, a tub to shower conversion can open up space.
2. Showers can make bathing more convenient for those who use mobility aids. For those who use wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids, zero-threshold showers make getting in and out easier by eliminating the need to step or be lifted over large walls and curbs.
3. Showers can make a bathroom feel more open and modern. Large, clunky bathtubs and busy shower curtains can take up a lot of space and make a room appear crowded. Showers, especially if they’re walk-in and have clear glass doors, can make any bathroom feel more open and spacious.
