Last Updated on September 6, 2018

The days of stressing out about the mess and downtime of a large kitchen renovation are a thing of the past. Granite and Trend Transformations has a fresh approach to updating your kitchen with a simple process that will let you keep your wits and wind up with a gorgeous new kitchen that all your friends will envy. Sound too good to be true? Believe it. We have a proven process that makes it all possible to accomplish in a short amount of time with no stress and very little mess. Read on to learn how you can refresh your kitchen in four easy steps, and in less time than you ever imagined.

Here’s how we do it:

Step 1: Design

kitchen remodel ideasSimply schedule your free in-home design consultation on our website or by calling the location nearest you. On your appointment date, one of our trained design consultants will arrive promptly at your home with our full line of products, including countertops and surfaces, mosaic tile backsplashes and cabinet refacing selections. This personalized service gives you the advantage of seeing how the product looks in your home alongside your décor, so you know you’re choosing the best colors and styles for your space.

Step 2: Measure

kitchen remodel processAfter your contract is signed, a member of our team will schedule an appointment to visit your home to take precise measurements of your kitchen or bathroom. These measurements are then used to create a template which our fabricators will use to create and cut your countertops and backsplash to the correct size. Since every job is different, you can expect the appointment to last about two hours, depending on the size of the space and what you’re having done. Keep in mind that countertops and the backsplash can be measured relatively quickly, whereas cabinet measurements can take a bit more time.

The biggest advantage for you is that throughout the entire renovation process, you will still have a fully-functioning kitchen at your service, since our countertops are designed to fit directly over your existing ones. And if you’re ordering cabinets, our refacing process allows you to continue to use your current cabinets until installation day. This means little to no demolition, no mess – and no need to spend lots of money ordering expensive take-out meals for weeks.

Step 3: Create

Kitchen Remodeling IdeasNow, the exciting part begins: Your countertops and backsplash are ordered and cut to size based on your kitchen template. This fabrication process generally takes two-to-four weeks, depending on the products you choose since some colors are more popular than others and may have a longer lead time. Your materials are then approved by our quality control team to ensure everything is just right. Once approved, your new products are ready to be installed!

Step 4: Install

kitchen renovation processIt’s installation day, and that means you are only hours away from enjoying your new kitchen! By now, the plumber should have disconnected any sink pipes. This step is typically done the night before or the morning of the install. Note that most Granite and Trend Transformations locations have plumbers who can do this for you. Then, on installation day, all you have to do is sit back and watch your dream kitchen come to life.

NOTE: Cabinet refacing installations can take up to a week, depending on the size of the kitchen. Speak to your local Granite and Trend Transformations store for details.
