As a Granite Transformations franchisee, you will own the right to sell and install our product within a pre-defined and protected territory of existing homes. Only you will have the option of opening another showroom in your specified territory or of soliciting customers within that territory.
As a new franchisee, you will be trained in all the key areas of the business so that you can kick off your new business with confidence. You’ll learn how to work with the product, even if that’s not the aspect of the business you plan to be routinely involved in. Our training programs provide both initial and ongoing support in areas such as showroom design, generating sales, operations management, personnel development, accounting procedures, and building referral business. Your installation teams will be certified through our rigorous process so that you can be secure in the quality of the finished work your customers will have in their homes.
Since marketing is the lifeblood of this business, we spend a lot of time, energy and money on developing tools for your local use – magazine and newspaper campaigns, television and radio spots, direct mail and door hangers, home show flyers, even a specialized program of graphics for your vehicles. Building brand recognition in a new city is always a challenge, but this package of materials takes a lot of expensive guesswork out of the process.
When you receive your copy of Franchise Disclosure Documents you’ll have a detailed breakdown of the estimated costs for getting your Granite Transformations franchise up and running. As an overview, though, here’s what those numbers look like. Keep in mind that a portion of these expenses may be financed, through SBA or conventional lenders, but we’re careful to protect our franchisees from the burden of too much debt service.
